Healthy Tomato Juice Recipe

When it comes up to tomato juice recipe, I prepare the following quite often.

I would rather prepare it myself since some of brands available in widely market is often too thick and salty. It is far different from fresh home squeezed ones. The one I prepared by my vegetable juicer is light, velvety and refreshing.

This Vegetable-Tomato Cocktail is just like any other juice, it is quite easy to prepare. However, the special thing of it is the taste.

The salty sour of tomato is strongly come out, but the lemon makes the fresh aroma and the soft hot taste of onion and green chili is really "kick" my tongue.


Vegetable-Tomato Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 2 bowls juice of tomato
  • 1 leafy celery, chopped
  • 2-3 parsley
  • 2 slices lemon
  • 1 slice green chili
  • 1 slice onion
  • 1/4 tsp low fat dressing
  • 1/2 tsp honey

Directions:

  • Blend all the ingredients until evenly mixed.
  • For 3-4 serving

The second choice is Garden-Fresh Tomato Juice. It is quite simple, on preparing and on ingredient content as well. I usually prepare it when I have limited time to prepare the juice and somehow I found that my cabinet is also lacking of veggies! :)

 


Garden-Fresh Tomato Juice

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • Dressing for flavor
  • Any favorite herbs such as mint leaves or ginger

Directions:

  • Blend tomatoes.
  • Add other ingredients and re-blend till mixed well
  • Strain and refrigerate.
  • For 1 serving
