6 small zucchini 4 small yellow crookneck squash (1 pound) 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 can sliced pimiento (2 ounce), drained and chopped Cut zucchini and crookneck squash into 2-inch-thick slices. Place sliced zucchini, yellow squash and sliced onion in steamer basket. Place basket over boiling water. Cover and steam about 13 minutes or till vegetables are tender. Meanwhile, in saucepan melt butter or margarine. Stir in lemon juice, salt, basil, and pepper. Turn steamed vegetables into serving bowl. Stir in butter mixture and pimiento. Serve immediately. 4 fresh corn 1 cup water 2 tablespoons butter
Place all the ingredients in the steamer pot and put on boiling for 15 minutes.
