Heart Healthy Food - Vegetable Benefit Facts


One of very important benefits of vegetable is as heart healthy food.   2. A study to some people of 67's ages above shows that 43% of men and 34% of women mostly suffers an artery obstruction. The high level of homocystine in their blood causes it.

  3. Our body uses folate, vitamin B12 and B6 to control homocystine. This folate and vitamin B6 contained in green veggies. That is why green veggies are highly recommended to prevent homocystine increasing. Green veggies such as spinach also contain magnesium, calium and calcium. All of them are beneficial contents for hearts.


  4. Excessive natrium consumption also can raise blood tension. It is getting worse, if magnesium, calium and calcium intake is low. It is important to know that calcium in spinach is quite difficult to digest. That is the reason why variety green veggies consumption is recommended.
