Easy Appetizer Recipe

This is my favorite part of all. Easy appetizer recipe sound so.. great! isn't it? But that's not all yet, adding vegetables will increase its nutrient and benefit for our health. Broccoli, cucumber and artichoke can be your choices. And you will find the recipes bit later below.

Have you known how good artichoke is for our health? People usually use it to ease liver complaints. However, it is not usual to take artichoke alone rather than mix them with another ingredients, so the following recipe can be your perfect choice!If you are curious to know more, click here to review about artichoke benefit for our health.

Artichoke Mini-Squares

1 lg Onion
1 Garlic clove, minced
4 Eggs (beaten)
1/4 c Bread crumbs
2 Jars of artichoke hearts, chopped (not liquid)
1 1/2 ts Oregano
Salt, pepper to taste
ds Tabasco
2 c Shredded cheddar cheese

Saute the onion and garlic in marinade from 1 jar of artichoke hearts.

Beat the eggs and add bread crumbs, artichoke hearts (chopped), oregano, salt and pepper, Tabasco, onion and garlic mix, shredded cheddar cheese.

Pour into a 9 x 13 inch or 7 x 11 inch pan; cook for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.



Broccoli with Blue Cheese in Prepared Puff

Prepared Pie Pastry
1/2 lb Crumbled Bleu Cheese
4 Eggs
4 c Cooked Broccoli Florets
1 lb Ricotta Cheese

Preheat oven to 400øF for 10 minutes. Beat eggs until light.

Mix in both cheeses, pepper and nutmeg until well mixed. Stir in broccoli. Set aside.

Place prepared pie crust in 9" quiche dish. Pour filling into crust. Bake 30 minutes.



Cucumbers in Yogurt

1 Hothouse cucumber
1 tb Minced green onion
1 sm Clove minced garlic
16 oz Plain yogurt
3 tb Minced fresh basil
Freshly ground pepper
2 tb Minced fresh mint
Salt

Cut cucumber into 1/8-inch-slices, place in colander and sprinkle with salt. Drain 30 minutes.

Rinse cucumber and pat dry. Combine yogurt, basil, mint, onion and garlic in medium bowl. Blend in cucumber, salt and pepper.

Refrigerate at least 1 hour. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead.)
